Happy Birthday Rachel!!

My wonderful wife is turning 25 on Sunday. Even though she is getting older she is still as baller as ballers get. She just got hired by a company called MarketStar and will be doing marketing and sales for a company you may have heard of called Google. So far she really likes it and is doing an awesome job. It’s never easy starting a sales job just because you get told no so many times and that can be a hard pill to swallow at first, but of coarse just like with everything else she has just whooped a lot of ass doing it. She has done a great job transferring careers and learning the whole sales game. This is no surprise to me because Rachel has proven time and time again that she can do anything she puts her mind to. I really think Rachel can do anything if she puts her mind to it, and she drives me to want more out of life at every opportunity.

I don’t really think I need to say it because I’m sure all of you have felt it. I find it so odd how as soon as Rachel enters a room the whole dynamic changes. She brings so much happiness and joy everywhere she goes, and she instantly makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. She truly is a good person who cares more about others then she does about herself which is almost impossible to find in a person anymore. I love the fact Rachel and I have so much in common. I would have never thought I would find a girl that was into so many of the same things as I am. Even when she isn’t really into a certain sports game she will act like it and cheer her head off with me even though she thinks I’m an idiot for caring some much. I think that’s what makes our relationship so great the fact my wife is such a giver and she rarely wants anything in return. She goes out of her way so often and due to this I think we all love her.

Happy Birthday Bubs!

I love ya to death. You blow me away every opportunity you get!
We’ll expect to see all you guys at our house tomorrow for a birthday BBQ, and then at Big City Bowling.

Summer

With the summer finally arriving, I've noticed all these articles on spring cleaning.  Now, I don't think I've ever "designated" a spring cleaning day.  When I was little I can remember my Mom making me suicidal with jobs to do around the house, which got me thinking shouldn't I be doing miserable cleaning chores?  So off I went to the worldwide web to double check my cleaning list.  To my surprise, and I'm sure Evans, we actually do all these miserable chores on a regular basis.  Sorry Evan, you have an obsessive wife who hates smelly things.
Here are some items that I was reading:
Clean washer and dryer, inside and out
Clean out fridge, wash shelves
Clean off deck, patio furniture etc.
deep clean bathrooms
organize all winter stuff
Clean up front yard

That is just a sampling of what I read, and I do all that stupid stuff regularly.  I honestly can not stand opening my fridge and smelling something.  I think that's the worst smell in the world.  In between my Mom and living in a sorority house, where you never knew what was growing in the fridge, I have become obsessive about cleaning mine.  You will never find over a week old food.  Plus Evan is obsessive over our little yard.  And when I say little, I mean tiny.  But you would be shocked the amount of time we spend on the little 10x10 square.  We have already pulled up all the grass, lowered the flower bed, pulled out at least 10 pounds if not more of dirt, and laid down new stones for a "patio" look.  I think Evan and I balance each other out in the aspect of something that I may not think of doing, he will.  For instance different home improvement ideas.  And as my parents put it, we're young so why not try out all these ideas?  Which is a very good point.

Anyway, nothing else is going on besides we are outside all the time now with the warmer weather and trying to keep our felon dog out of trouble.  Which can be a giant project in of itself.  If anyone has other spring cleaning ideas, please let me know.  Since I've never really done this before.  Any ideas are welcomed!

Ps, my mother in law got the cutest new puppy.  See picture below to squeal in delight :)

Graduation

This guy

graduates today, and I'm so so proud of him.

For everyone that has graduated, it's hard.  It's a lot of work and dedication.  For Evan he also had to deal with being a newlywed, on top of all the sports he does, and balancing a full time job with it.

In other words, he had A LOT on his plate.

He made being busy look good, and I never had any idea when he was overwhelmed.  He would just get his homework done or ask me to help with certain assignments when he was drowning in homework.

On top of all of this, he already is a certified EMT and firefighter.

In other words, my husband is awesome.

And in case you weren't following this blog, he graduates today and I'm beyond proud and so excited for him.
Please come and support him either today at the graduation, or at our awesome BBQ which is tomorrow night at 6pm.

It's at my parents house, so if you need directions text me or Evan.

GO UTES!
