Rachel likes to give me a hard time for never posting on our blog. So i thought i would take this opportunity to drop an explosion of new information about how things have been for us over the past few months. We have been super busy skiing every weekend and have also picked up some shifts teaching ski school from a friend of Rachel’s. It has been awesome! Rachel has been making bags of money, and even got me out there two times to help out. It has really helped having the additional income and Rachel is biting at the bit to get herself some new outfits for the upcoming summer. (She deserves it!!)
We are also looking at getting ready to move. Yes… Yes… i know we have only been in our town house for only a year and a half, but we will be moving in another year and a half so its never too early to start thinking about where we want to buy our first house. A few of the places we are thinking are near Porcupine at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, and also possibly making a move up to Washington or Oregon. We took a trip there last year and absolutely loved the area. Oregon is so pretty and has so many cool things to do like camping, backpacking,, river floats, climbing, skiing, and hiking, and what Rach loves best is how fly the house styles are. It would be a big change moving away from our families, but we’ll see where life takes us.
The snow is getting thin so its time to start looking at summer and the camping trips we want to try and squeeze into it. Rach and I love to camp, I can’t think of a much better time then having a few beers with friends and sitting by the fire. We also have a few trips planned with my family to take the boat, we have been doing this for the past few years and have had a lot of fun spending time together with the family and having the kids go wild
We'll keep you posted.

The Bachelor
I watch the Bachelor every Monday, and from day one I have had a girl crush on Emily. She has been quiet and reserved for this entire season, not causing drama while all the other girls get wasted and cry to Brad about who knows what. I have never been happier with the conclusion to the season. She is a down to earth girl, and it down right pisses me off when everyone wanted the "dramatic" girl to win. Chantal was a complete joke the entire season. Crying every second she got, if she didn't get attention she would straight up freak out. I think Brad made the best decision ever. And the after the rose piece they were honest. Yes couples fight, surprise! They are trying to have an honest relationship and there is a child involved so they are trying to be mature about it. I completely respect how they acted during the after the rose part because they were acting like normal people with normal issues. So everyone out there who is an Emily basher, Chantal would've been 500 times worse.

Try new foods
A big pet peeve of mine is adults not trying new food. I love sushi, love is an understatement, I'm obsessed with sushi. Evan thought it looked weird but tried it anyway, and didn't like it. It drives me nuts when people just say ew I'll never eat that, but have you tried it? More often then not, they haven't. I was raised on the three no thank you bite rule. Even if I didn't like it, I had to have three bites. Didn't matter what kind of fuss I made, I had to eat it. I think adults should have this rule like kids too. Some adults are just dead set in their ways of they WILL not eat something and it makes no logical sense. Just try it, who knows you could find your new favorite food. Granted I understand if your body will just not handle certain foods. I can't eat a lot of red meat or dairy. Some people just have weird things about them. But don't say no just because you think it looks weird.
On that note though, did you know Whole Foods sells their soups in bulk? It was a magical afternoon of soup bliss.
Happy Friday!
