Running

So if anyone really knows me, they will know I'm a running junkie. Now I'm not fast, I will never brag of being some amazing runner that does 7 minute, even 8 minute miles. I run because I'm addicted and find it relaxing. I don't care that sometimes after I binge eat of ice cream bars and non-stop Chilis that I feel like I'm having a mild attack while running. It's all apart of the experience. I haven't ever really been one to do races though. Like the half or full marathons, 5K, or 10K. Well this year, being married and all, I decided to be mature and start doing them. It's alot easier said then done. If anyone hasn't done these races, they are expensive! Paying 60 dollars for 2 hours of pain, yes that's what I want to put my money into. So this year, I already have two major races ahead of me. One is on April 24th, the Thanksgiving Point half marathon, and the other is called Ragnar. This "Ragnar" is a 188 mile relay from Logan to Park City with twelve person teams, where you basically run all day and all night. Do I have anxiety talking about it? Yes, yes very much so. So if all you see me doing over the next couple of months is running, now you have my explanation!

oh your nuts doing ragnar, my friend is trying to talk me into it but all the easy legs are taken and I said hell no! I use to love to run as well so I understand the obsession, kids and a husband who is gone all the time make it hard to find the time so I am jealous and good luck with that

Good luck my little racing sock monkey! I think it's great. I used to run all the time when I lived in Cali, then I moved here and holy cow it made my lungs burn!! Probably didn't help that it was really cold compared to California. I'll cheer you on!
