Got Baby?

Why is it that once you are married all people care about is when you are going to have your first baby? Yes I am now married but in no way do I want a child at this point in my life. I just married a beautiful woman and the last thing I want to do is spend less time with her because I have to focus on my duties as a father. Rachel and I have a lot of things we plan to do before having children. If any of you have spent time with us you would know right away that we are having too much fun to stop and have a child right now. Last week I came home with a homeless puppy that I found a work and it solidified the notion that we are not ready for a child. The other night Torre and I were asked to leave the bedroom because we may or may not have been snoring and farting. Half way through the night I can hear someone outside the guest bedroom door swearing up a storm. I also hear the faint sound of dog tags jingling around as Alta dodges the smacks Rachel was delivering. After a bit of contemplation I decided to get up and poke my head out the door. I find my wife on her hands and knees scrubbing what looks like brown pee into the carpet. Alta seemed to have a bit of a stomachache that night and had a few accidents. Our floor looked like a chocolate chip cookie. I really didn’t want to ask but out of respect I said it. What happened honey? She turns with blood shot eyes. There is shit all over our house!!!!!! I do what I can to help, and took the puppy into the guest bedroom with Torre and I.
