Hobble Creek Half

So Evan and I ran a half marathon last Saturday.  And like usual, I trained for the past 3-4 months and Evan ran maybe 10 times total.  And like usual, he did a million times better then I did.  We thought we were running much faster then we actually were, whoops.  (Our time wasn't that great...poop)  But I kind of crapped out at about mile 10.5.  I was just super done, and Evan was the happy energizer bunny who was literally running circles around me.  Oh the joys of being married to an amazing athlete.  I think it's in the Howard blood.  Overall though Evan encouraged me and motivated me to keep on going and I don't think I could've done it without him.  So thank you honey, you are the besets even though you tried having a full blown conversation with me at mile 12 and I couldn't breathe.  That's besides the point.  Anywho, thanks to our amazing family we got some great pictures.  Thanks again Kerry, Jerm and kids, and Sharon and David for coming to watch.  It really meant the world to us.  Sorry you were waiting so long!

This proves my point of how perky Evan was.  This was literally going to the finish line and he is shooting air guns at people.

So proud of you both! I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is. If you thought this race was slow, just wait until SLC Half next year. Holy slowness!

I'm glad we were there to take pictures and cheer you both on!
I hope this means that Evan has caught the running bug ...
