Mazdaratti

A year ago in September my parents enrolled Evan and I into Financial Peace University.  At the time, we weren't thrilled having to take a financial class, but honestly Evan and I had no clue how to make a budget or anything.  We were figuring it out as we went.  Needless to say at the end of the class in December, we had made some pretty big goals for ourselves.  We had expected to get an awesome tax return to continue our progress on paying off one of the cars.  Nope, this year we had to pay a huge chunk to the government.  With all the hurdles and life emergencies that everyone has, we have paid off our Mazda, which is only 3 years old.  It's been really exciting working together on this and saving and learning how to manage our money.  It's hard, I won't lie.  It takes a lot of patience from Evan to make me understand why certain things have to be a certain way.  I am difficult at times.  But as soon as we figure it out together and Evan explains the number side to it, I'm thrilled with the results.  Dave Ramsey throughout the entire class kept saying "Live like no one else, so you can live like no one else"  And honestly it makes all the sense in the world to me now.  So hurray for one car down, and one to go!  Our goal for the next car is hopefully before Christmas....hopefully.

Here she is!

Great job!! I'm such a believer in the Dave Ramsey method. Not having to stress about money and being on the same page as your spouse is HUGE!
