I may or may not be clumsy.
Yesterday we were assigned to go to the warehouse to check out AFD's on a binding. For everyone that doesn't know what an AFD is, google it. Congratulations you learned something new today. In order to check these AFD's it required having an exacto knife and peeling or poking one side to see if it's loose etc. Things were going smoothly for a good hour and a half, we had made major headway with all the bindings and then we reached the Freeski bindings. These AFD's were harder to check because they were on really tight, which of course is the main idea, but it made them harder to check. Caitlyn and I were busy chatting away and checking AFD's until my hand slipped on the binding and the exacto knife that was supposed to check the binding was in my hand. I put the binding down and went to wash it off thinking it was no big deal. Of course with my luck it's not stopping so I call Evan and he is telling me what to do. It finally stops and I ask Caitlyn to help me put a band aid on it. By this point my hand is throbbing and there are these disgusting little white pieces in my cut which I have no clue what they are. At this point my boss is asking what happened along with the other people that were working and they are looking at my hand saying it looks bad blah blah blah. I end up sitting down while the rest of the guys start getting stuff to clean it and all of a sudden I can hardly hear anything, I got super sweaty and super sick. By this point I just want to go home and to have not cut my hand to begin with. I snap out of that and call Evan and ask him to take me because I don't want to go to the hospital with my boss.(even though he is a super nice guy, it's an emotional thing wanting family around instead) Evan drives all the way from Salt Lake to Ogden to rescue me and we go to the doctor get stitches, I swear none of the numbing stuff worked, and return home around 2:30 when this all started around 10 am. Just goes to show me to keep my mouth shut when I say things have been boring and nothing eventful has happened. Oh also, once again just to brag that my husband is the best and dealt with me when I was freaking out on the phone and was super sweet through this being my first time getting stitches. Yay for husbands!!

Oh that sounds yucky. I'm glad your hand is still attached! Cheers to a speedy recovery!
Ouch! You never know how you are going to react to this kind of thing, until it happens! Glad that everything turned out O.K. Evan has had many stitches, in fact I think I have lost count of how many! Vinegar and brown paper just doesn't do the trick any more~
